Sell with Sparkwood: Terms & Conditions

By submitting items to sell to Sparkwood Collectables (“Sparkwood”, “we”, “us”), you agree to the terms below. Please read carefully before sending any items.


1. Submissions & Offers

1.1 — You may submit details of items you wish to sell via our online form or by email as instructed.

1.2 — We review submissions at our discretion and may decline any submission without obligation to make an offer.

1.3 — Where we do make an offer, we may offer either cash or store credit (or both options), based on market factors and our buying criteria.

1.4 — All offers are subject to inspection and verification of the items we receive. No offer is binding until we have completed our checks.

2. Shipping & Risk

2.1 — You are responsible for shipping your items to Sparkwood, including packaging, postage, and insurance. We strongly recommend tracked and insured shipping.

2.2 — Risk (loss, damage, delay) remains with you until the items are received by Sparkwood in full at the address we provide. We are not liable for items lost or damaged in transit.

2.3 — Ship items to the address provided by us after we acknowledge your submission. Do not ship to any other address.

3. Condition & Accuracy

3.1 — You must describe your items accurately and completely, including condition, editions, quantities, accessories, and any flaws or prior restoration.

3.2 — We will not pay out for any items that are counterfeit, missing, materially different from the submission, or otherwise fail verification.

3.3 — We may record unboxing/inspection for verification purposes.

4. Inspection & Verification

4.1 — Upon receipt, we will inspect and verify the items against your submission (authenticity, completeness, and condition).

4.2 — If items match your submission and pass verification, we will confirm the approved offer by email.

4.3 — If any item fails verification (counterfeit, missing, materially different, or excessive damage), we will notify you. See Section 7 for what happens next.

5. Offer Types & Payout (Same Day)

5.1 — If you select cash: once verification is complete and approved, we will pay out the same business day via one of the supported methods (see Section 6), provided confirmation is received by 3pm UK time; otherwise next business day.

5.2 — If you select store credit: we will issue store credit the same business day upon approval. Once issued, title transfers to Sparkwood immediately (see Section 8).

5.3 — We cannot guarantee an offer on every submission, and offer values may differ between cash and store credit.

6. Payment Methods

6.1 -UK bank transfer (to an account matching the seller’s name) or PayPal to the email provided on your submission. We cannot change the payee details after approval.

6.2 — International payments may incur banking or FX fees, which may be deducted from the payout.

6.3 — For higher-value payouts or international sellers, we may request ID. Payment may be held until ID is provided.

7. Counterfeit / Missing / Mismatched Items

7.1 — Items that are counterfeit, missing, or materially different from the submission are not eligible for payout.

7.2 — At your request, we can return failed items to you at your cost (tracked and insured shipping required). If you do not respond within 14 days of our notice, we may dispose of or recycle such items.

7.3 — We reserve the right to report counterfeit goods to relevant authorities or brands.

8. Title & Ownership

8.1 — For cash payouts, title transfers to Sparkwood upon our payment confirmation.

8.2 — For store credit, title transfers upon issuance of the store credit.

8.3 — Until title transfers, you warrant that you are the legal owner with full right to sell the items.

9. Returns of Your Items (If Declined)

9.1 — If we decline your submission in whole or in part after inspection, we will notify you. You are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping.

9.2 — If you choose not to have declined items returned, you may authorise us to responsibly dispose of or recycle them.

10. Liability

10.1 — Sparkwood’s liability in relation to a submission is limited to the amount actually paid by Sparkwood for verified items accepted under these terms.

10.2 — We accept no liability for loss, damage, or delay to items before receipt by Sparkwood.

10.3 — Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Taxes & Duties

11.1 — International sellers are responsible for any import duties/taxes on items sent to or returned by Sparkwood. Such costs may be deducted from any payout.

12. General

12.1 — We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force when your items are received will apply.

12.2 — These terms are governed by English law and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
